My Name is Moniecha Warmington. I am the Principal, and founder of MYDC Dance Company.  I started the dance company at the age of 14 on the 15th March 2013. I've been dancing since the age of 3, and have been acting, and singing since the ages of 8. At the age of 9 i performed with a company called Boy Blue entertainment at Birmingham Hippordome. As my experience on stage increased i began to enjoy working behind the scenes of performing arts. I've been in a range of productions since i was a young girls for example; Fame, Oliver, Annie, Bugsy Malone, Our day out, Cinderella, Aladdin, Schools out, Grinch etc. I took dance classes with Jordon school of Dance & performing arts. I took IDTA examtinations with them, and without my teachers pushing me, my parent's, and family i dont think i would have created my amazing dance company. I created MYDC to give young people the chance to join in with something, to be apart of something. I began to love being behind the scences, because after teaching for almost 4 years watching the people ive taught grow into amazing dancers it makes me feel proud, and a success! I've worked with; Nathan Marsh, Katie-Leigh Stevenson, Kenrick Sandy, Beatfreekz, Bss showbiz, Saints dance, Cheerleading squads, and more!
